Acupuncture

Joanne Baldwin

Acupuncturist (Chinese Medicine Practitioner)

I’ve had the privilege of working at Bloomhill Wellness Centre for over a year, and I’m surrounded by the most amazing people in the most beautiful setting.

I’m a classically trained Acupuncturist and have studied both Japanese Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Among my degrees I hold a Bachelor of Health Science in Acupuncture and have many years experience.

Some of my adventures in acupuncture include a semester at Guangxi Traditional Chinese Medical University in 2009, where I completed internships in three of China’s public hospitals across all departments. In 2016 I also spent 6 months living in Mumbai. Part of my weekly routine involved volunteering at the Barefoot Acupuncture Clinic in Dharavi, which is India’s largest slum area. I have been to India many times over the years, always staying with the same family, but that experience really touched my heart.

The style of Acupuncture I practice is gentle and painless. My intention is to assist clients on their path to health and well-being using a holistic approach to support the body’s innate healing abilities physically, mentally, and emotionally.

If you are interested in acupuncture and how it can assist you on your path, then I would love to have a chat with you, and please – call me Jo.
