Purpose of the Advisory Group

The primary purpose of the Clinical Advisory Group (CAG) is to ensure that Bloomhill clients and their carers receive high quality clinical and psychological care, in relation to the standards of evidence based- practice, quality practitioners, innovation in responding to the needs of cancer clients and the implementation of a program of clinical research and education.

The secondary purpose of the CAG is to advise the CEO and Bloomhill Board members on clinical matters related to care delivery including but not limited to:

  • Best practice clinical guidelines for care of patients with cancer
  • Clinical quality assurance and assessment
  • Personnel profiling
  • Clinical research
  • Current clinical services
  • Potential, safety and efficacy of new clinical services

Meets quarterly.
