Stretch Class
ABOUT OUR GROUP
The Stretch class will focus on improving whole body flexibility and mobility through stretching exercises.
This low intensity class is an excellent way to restore mobility post-surgery in a safe and supervised environment. It will also serve as an accessible form of exercise for those going through active treatment or as a first step in returning to exercise post treatment.
If you are looking to improve your posture, flexibility, and reduce aches and pains this will be the class for you.
Suitable for all fitness levels – this class will be delivered by our Exercise Physiologist Ryan Day.
Flexibility exercises, also known as stretches or range-of-motion (ROM) exercises, lengthen muscles and tendons. They improve or maintain the flexibility of joints and muscles.
We naturally lose joint and muscle flexibility as we age, but cancer treatments also contribute to this. Regular stretching helps to improve stiffness and flexibility. Cancer Council
